While I was packing my summer clothes for a sleep till next season I spent some time putting on the clothes I loved to wear during my spring/summer season.
Big hats
I really liked the trend. It’s what I call “from the Granny’s closet”. Unfortunately, my Granny cleaned up her closet before this kind of hats returned to the top of the hit list. It looks fabulous with long skirts and skinny jeans. I love the way they look with fur vests. Big glasses are the must for the outfit.
Plisse skirt
This gorgeous maxi skirts are perfect for summer, the fabric pleats and maxi length create an ultra feminine look. I like the way the wind plays with the skirt and shows the fabric and prints of the skirt. Rich colours are welcome!
Toy dogs
A Toy dog is something that became a fashion trend several decades ago. Unfortunately dogs are not something you can change every season. This year the designers more that ever used little dogs in their fashion campaigns.Rich colours.
Spring/Summer of 2011 is officially the season of rich colours. Almost all designers even the most conservative used “happy” colours in their collections. Gucci and Versace are the leaders in using the rich colour palette while creating their collections. Tasteful combination helps to escape the Peacock effect.
It’s sad to put such clothes away but on the other hand – the coming season shall bring more fresh ideas and more new items to my closet.
